Together, we can save lives.
At FECY Foundation, our mission has always been rooted in compassion, education, and action. As part of our projects for this year, we launched a focused initiative aimed at breaking the stigma surrounding Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) and Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STDs)—because silence and shame cost lives.

Many people still suffer in silence due to misinformation, fear, and stigma. This outreach reminded us how critical community-level education is in changing narratives and protecting lives.

During the sensitization exercise, our team engaged community members in open and respectful conversations around:
These discussions were designed not to judge, but to inform, empower, and encourage healthier decisions.
One of the strongest messages we shared was the importance of early detection and protection. When people seek help early and take preventive measures, outcomes can change dramatically—for individuals, families, and entire communities.
Health education saves lives, but only when people feel safe enough to listen, ask questions, and act.
