The Pig Farming Documentary Project is one of FECY Foundation’s capacity-building initiatives — designed to empower individuals with the knowledge and skills needed to start and manage pig farming ventures. Pig farming is a lucrative and sustainable form of agriculture, but many aspiring farmers lack practical guidance and experience.
Through this documentary, a seasoned FECY volunteer who is an experienced pig farmer demonstrates the entire pig farming process — from initial setup, feeding, breeding, and hygiene management to basic business strategies. The project turns complex agricultural practices into an easy-to-follow, practical guide, making entrepreneurship accessible to everyone interested in livestock farming.
